SPUDS

We've ate 'em boiled. We've ate 'em in stew.
Ate 'em for breakfast, and supper too.
Ate 'em cold and ate 'em hot.
Had to! Whether we wanted to or not.
But if eatin' em helps us to win this war,
Then put us down for a little more.
And if we rate a medal, it seems to me
It shouldn't be less than the D.F.C.!!!
