MY COMRADE
A greater sacrifice no
man can give
Than his life, that others might live.
We fought, we lived with one another.
We shared our thoughts, just like a brother.
Truer comradeship could not be found
Buddies in the air, buddies on the ground.
Six came back to tell the story.
We saw you die, we know the glory.
Valor of your deeds, may never be written.
We'll remember you always, you'll never be forgotten.
We'll leave you men in the great pilot's care.
He knows you're worthy, we know you're there.
When the great pilot calls for our final mission
We'll be there --- and in position.
So farewell brave comrades. A salute we give.
We know you died so others might live.
